BOSTON, MA (February 13, 2026)—The King's College men's indoor track and field team sent sophomore Preston Klem and graduate student Owen Foytack to the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday at Boston University's Track and Tennis Center. The two athletes competed amongst a field of competitors across all three divisions.

Preston Klem competed first for the Monarchs in the 800 meter run, posting a season-best time of 1:57.73 to finish sixth in his heat and 121st overall. His mark currently ranks fourth in the MAC and 21st in the region.

Owen Foytack closed out the day in impressive fashion for the Monarchs, shattering his own school record in the mile with a personal-best time of 4:07.41. His mark currently leads the MAC by more than 12 seconds, ranks second in the region, and sits 10th nationally. The Moscow, Pa. native now owns nine of the top 10 mile times in program history.

King's men's indoor track and field looks to build on these strong performances on Saturday, February 14 as the Monarchs head to Selinsgrove, PA for the SU Valentine Invite starting at 9:30 a.m.
