NEWTOWN, PA (February 17, 2026) — On Tuesday morning, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) released its weekly awards, recognizing King's College distance runner Owen Foytack as the MAC Track Athlete of the Week.

Foytack earned the honor following a record-breaking performance at Boston University's David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday. The graduate student set a new school record in the mile with a time of 4:07.41, breaking his previous mark and continuing his standout indoor season.

The time currently leads the MAC, ranks third in the region, and sits 19th nationally. Following the performance at BU, Foytack now owns nine of the top ten mile times in program history.

The honor is the first MAC Track Athlete of the Week award of Foytack's career.
