Men's T&F 4x200 Relay Breaks School Record at Susquehanna's Valentine Invite

SELINSGROVE, PA (February 14, 2026)— The King's College men's track and field team competed at Saturday's SU Valentine Invite, hosted by Susquehanna University as the Monarchs were highlighted by another school record.

Another school record was taken down on Saturday as the quartet of Jacob Mullery, Jordan Jones, Evan Galavage, and Alek Gorski started off the day with a third-place finish at 1:34.32 in the 4 x 200-meter relay. Their time was .32 seconds faster than the previous school record held last year at the MAC Championships by Kival Clarke, Andrew Novrocki, Mullery, and Gorski.

Joseph Rossi finished in 18th at 17:19.56 in the 5,000m, while Ben Wnuk made his debut in the mile with a time of 4:42.81. In the 60-meter hurdles, Josh Malone crossed the line at 9.16 and secured third in his heat and placed 13th overall.

Mullery claimed second in his heat and 11th overall in the 60-meter dash, while teammate Galavage won his session with a time of 7.47 to earn 33rd overall. Pichardo got fifth in his at 7.65, posting a 50th place result.

In the 400-meter dash, Ryan Baxter crossed the line at 54.10 and claimed 16th overall, while teammates Jarrett Hoch and Victor Cocchiaro ran times of 56.26 and 58.39 to earn 28th and 36th respectively.

Casimir Glaude ran a personal best time of 2:07.29 in the 800-meters earning 21st overall. In the 200-meter dash, Gorski sprinted a time of 23.50 winning in his heat and earning sixth overall, while Pichardo finished third in his heat and 35th at 25.51. The 4x400 relay team of Galavage, Wnuk, Glaude, and Baxter finished 10th with a time of 3:39.54.

In the long jump, Jordan Jones claimed fourth place with a leap of 6.56 meters, while Philliph Oden finished 20th with a mark of 5.79 meters. Oden also took 15th in the high jump after clearing 1.73 meters, while Kival Clarke secured eighth place with a leap of 12.96 meters in the triple jump.

In the weight throw, Brady Rutkoski led the Monarchs with a 13.45m toss for 15th place, followed by Joseph Schneider at 12.27m (27th), Jacob Martinez at 11.30m (35th), and Daniel Mattey at 10.03m (40th). King's saw solid contributions in the shot put, led by Mattey's 11.88m effort for 25th place. Martinez followed with an 11.70m toss to finish 29th, and Schneider recorded 11.18m for 36th.

The Monarchs are back in action on Saturday, February 21 as the Monarchs head to Ithaca, NY to compete at Cornell University.
