Lauren Casey receiving All-MAC Freedom Honors. Lewis earned Honorable Mention as a guard while Casey made the First Team as a forward under the leadership of ninth-year head coach Caitlin Hadzimichalis.
The First Team All-MAC Freedom nomination is the third in the career of Casey as she earned Second Team honors for the 2024-25 season and Honorable Mention in 2022-23. The Nanticoke, PA native appeared in and started all 25 games for the Monarchs this season while pacing the Monarchs with 14.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks per game, as well as field goal percentage (48.9%). Casey led the conference in rebounds per game with 10.9, and was top-5 in points and field goal percentage. This season, she matched her career high in scoring, rebounds and blocks. Her best game of the season came in a 25 point, 16 rebound performance against FDU-Florham where she shot 46% from the floor (9-16) and 88% from the free throw line (7-8). Casey was also named MAC Freedom Player of the Week on December 12 for her performances vs Wilkes and Keystone.
The All-MAC Freedom Honorable mention nod is the first for Lewis during her time at King's. The Dunmore, PA native also appeared in and started all 25 games for the Monarchs while leading the team with 35.2 minutes, 5.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game while also leading in three point (35.3%) and free throw percentage (81.7%). Lewis led the conference in assists per game with 5.0, was second in minutes per game, top-3 in free throw %, and top-5 in three point percentage while leading the conference in three point attempts per game. This season, she set new career highs for herself in points, steals. Her best performance of the 2025-26 campaign also came against FDU-Florham, where she had a 25 point, 14 assist, and 10 rebound triple double performance. Lewis' 14 assists vs FDU-Florham is tied for second most in a single game in program history.
The major awards were spread out amongst three teams this season as Arcadia's Delaney Bell was named Player of the Yea and Defensive Player of the Year. Delaware Valley's Whitney Evans collected Rookie of the Year honors while DeSales' Fred Richter was tabbed Coach of the Year.
