WILKES-BARRE, PA (May 29, 2026) -- On Friday afternoon, the King's College women's basketball program announced the dates for the 2026 King's Girls' Youth Basketball Camp. This year's camp is set for July 27-30 and will be held in the Scandlon Physical Education Center.

Hosted by King's Head Coach Caitlin Hadzimichalis, the camp is open to girls entering 3rd through 10th grades. Players of all experience levels are welcome.

Each day will begin with attendance and warm-ups from 9:00 to 9:15 a.m., followed by fundamental stations, games, and competitions from 9:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Campers will then break for lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., followed by an instructional lecture from 1:00 to 1:15 p.m. The day will conclude with additional games from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. and open gym and pool time from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Camp features include a free t-shirt, prizes and awards, individual instruction with an emphasis on fundamentals, and plenty of individual and team competitions. The cost to attend is $200 per camper at the basic rate, $175 at the family rate or $165 per camper at the employee rate. Proceeds from the camp will help the women's basketball team in their fundraising efforts.
