WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 21, 2026) -- With the 2026 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships nearly a week away, the King's College men's and women's programs are getting ready for a strong showing. This year's championship meet takes place at the Starry Outdoor Track & Field Stadium hosted by Messiah University.
The Pre‑Championship Coaches' Poll, released Thursday, projected the men's program to finish 12th among the 16 MAC teams, while the women's squad was selected eighth.

After an impressive team performance at the MAC indoor championships, King's plans on posting plenty of more podium finishes and possibly break some outdoor school records on the track and in the field.
Action gets underway Thursday, April 30 at 1:00 p.m. with the women's heptathlon and men's decathlon. Competition resumes Friday, May 1 at 9:15 a.m., beginning with day two of the men's decathlon and women's heptathlon. The final day of conference action kicks off Saturday, May 2 at 11:00 a.m., starting with the men's pole vault.

100 Meter Dash
First year
Ali Butcher is currently seeded 7th in the MAC after posting a 12.16 last weekend at the Misericordia Invitational. Ava Matter from Lebanon Valley holds the top spot at 12.26, recorded at the Messiah Multi/Invitational on April 9.
Jacob Mullery sits in ninth with a time of 10.92, recorded at the at the Messiah Multi/Invitational on April 9. Jacob Hunter and Richard Logan are tied for the top spot with times of 10.64, both recently posted last weekend at the Misericordia Invitational.

Josh Malone currently sits in 11th with a time of 16.52 at the Danny Curran Invitational on March 27. Keyon James from Eastern holds the top time at 14.51at the Messiah Multi/Invitational on April 9.

Preston Klem leads the King's contingent in the 800 as the 11th seed with his season‑best 1:56.07 from the Danny Curran Invitational on March 27. Robert Walton from Eastern holds the best time of 1:53.87, recorded at the Paul Donahue Invitational on April 17.

Klem additionally enters the MAC Championships in the 1500 with currently the second-best time of 3:57.89, recorded at the Paul Donahue Invitational on April 17. Klem became the second Monarch in program history to break the four-minute barrier in the event next to
Owen Foytack. Six competitors from the MAC have currently broken four minutes in the event, with Jozef Callano holding the best time of 3:53.65, which was done at the Coach P Invite on April 17.  Â

Dary Pichardo,
Kival Clarke,
Jordan Jones, and
Jacob Mullery lead the charge in the 4 x 100 meter relay, as they currently sit in 10th with a time of 43.99 from the Messiah Multi/Invitational on April 9. Lebanon valley holds the best time, with a performance of 41.48 at the York College Twilight Meet on April 1.
