2025 (Outdoor Season): Competed in six out of a possible nine meets as a senior mid distance runner for the Monarchs...Helped the 4x800 meter relay team to a fifth-place finish in 7:54.26 at the MAC Outdoor Championships (5/1/25)...Ran a season-best time of 1:58.37 in the 800 meter run at the Bison Outdoor Classic (4/13/25)...Finished in a season-best 52.07 seconds in the 400 meter dash at the Monarch Open (4/25/25)...King's finished 10th of 15 scoring teams with 34 points at the 2025 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

PRIOR TO KING'S: Ran on the cross country and track and field teams for the Comets of Abington Heights High School in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania ... graduated from AHHS in 2021 ... was named a captain for the Comets as a senior ... Won the 800 meters at the 2021 District 2 Class 3A Track and Field Championships with a time of 1:58.65 to qualify for the PIAA State Championships where he finished 20th in 2:00.96
PERSONAL: Also a member of the King's College men's cross country team ... Son of Amy and Dewey Petty...Has two siblings, Jake and Mitchell...an early childhood and special education major ... chose King's because "they reached out to me, really wanted me there, and seemed like such a welcoming atmosphere."
