Men's Lacrosse Falls to Lycoming in MAC Contest

LYCOMING MEN'S LACROSSE DEFEATS KING'S 11-1
 
WILKES-BARRE -- Andrew Stoner scored five goals to lead visiting Lycoming College to a 11-1 victory over King's College Wednesday night at McCarthy Stadium in the Betzler Athletic Complex.

With the win, Lycoming improved to 4-4 overall and 2-1 in the Middle Atlantic Conference. King's, meanwhile, fell to 1-6 and 0-3 in league games.

The Monarchs lone goal came on an unassisted score by Matt Sweazy with 11:14 left in the contest.  Lycoming outshot King's 32-25 and held a  33-23 advantage in ground balls. King's goalie Andrew Bartle made six saves on the day while Warrior keeper Kyle Gilfoy posted 12 stops.

King's returns to action Saturday with a 1:00 p.m. contest at Messiah College in Grantham.
