MEN'S LACROSSE FALLS TO MESSIAH
GRANTHAM – Jeff Ziegler scored three goals in leading the Messiah College men's lacrosse team to a 12-2 win over King's College on Saturday afternoon at Anderson Field.
With the win Messiah improved to 5-3 overall and 3-1 in the Middle Atlantic Conference. King's, meanwhile, fell to 1-7 and 0-4 in league play.
Curtis Reinard and Justin Delsordo were the lone goal scorers for the Monarchs. The two teams were tied in shots taken with both having 31 and were also tied on ground balls with 35 each. King's goalie Andrew Bartle made five saves on the day while Falcons keeper Greg Latimer posted six stops.
King's, returns to action on Wednesday with a 4:00 p.m. contest at Alvernia University in Reading.
