KING'S MEN'S LAXERS FALL TO WIDENER IN SEASON FINALE
 
WILKES-BARRE – Johnny Casey scored five goals to lead the visiting Widener University men's lacrosse team to a 20-6 victory over host King's College in the regular-season finale for both teams Saturday in McCarthy Stadium.

With the win, King's ends its season with a 3-12 overall record while standing 2-8 in the Middle Atlantic Conference. Widener, meanwhile, is 8-8 and 7-3 in the MAC.
King's received two goals and an assist from T.J. Lyon and one goal and one assist from Curtis Reinard. Matt Sweazey, Rusty Booth and Dan Carducci netted one goal each.  Tim Cassi made 12 saves while Andrew Bartle added eight.

Andrew Janusz and Shawn Dehaven chipped in with three goals each for Widener.
