King's Men's Lacrosse Drops 13-2 Decision to Elizabethtown

MEN'S LACROSSE FALLS TO ELIZABETHTOWN

WILKES-BARRE -- Greg Kenneally scored three goals in leading the Elizabethtown College men's lacrosse team to a 13-2 victory over King's College Saturday afternoon at McCarthy Stadium in the Betzler Athletic Complex.

With the win Elizabethtown improved to 7-2 overall and a 3-2 in the Middle Atlantic Conference. King's meanwhile fell to 2-8 and 1-5 in conference play.

The Monarchs lone goals came from Rusty Booth and Matt Sweazey. Booth found the back of the net with 1:48 left in the first quarter, while Sweazey scored with 2:45 remaining in the fourth quarter. Elizabethtown had a 53-22 shots-on-goal advantage and a 37-22 ground balls advantage. King's goalie Tim Cassi made 15 saves on the day while Blue Jays' keeper Hunter Malick posted nine stops.

King's returns to action on Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. contest at Keuka College in Keuka Park, New York.
