MONARCHS LACROSSE HOSTING MESSIAH COLLEGE, VIEW LIVESTATS

 

WILKES-BARRE - - The King's College men's lacrosse team is hosting Messiah College in Middle Atlantic Conference action on Saturday. Face-off is now slated for 1:30 p.m., a change from the original 1:00 p.m. time as Messiah experienced a problem with the team bus this morning and had its departure delayed.

King's enters today's game with a 4-4 overall record and a 2-2 conference mark after picking up a thrilling 8-7 overtime victory over Manhattanville College on Wednesday. Senior Rusty Booth leads the team in scoring on 20 points on 12 goals and eight assists. Brendan Novotny and Lenny Fox both add 18 points. J

unior Dan Carducci tallies 16 points on 10 goals and six assists. Senior Curtis Reinard chips in with 14 points on 10 goals and four assists. Freshman Kenny Cernuto has logged 431:11 minutes thus far for the Monarchs in the net, making 63 saves for a 7.65 GAA.

 

The Messiah men's lacrosse team enters today's game with a 3-5 overall record and a 2-2 Middle Atlantic Conference mark after dropping a 7-4 decision to Lycoming College on Wednesday. Nate Windon leads the team with 15 points on 12 goals and three assists. Phil Wendt also has 15 points on eight goals and seven assists. 

Heath Kupecky adds 12 points on five goals and seven assists. J.J. Miller tallies eight points on five goals and three assists. Brent Stewart chips in with seven points on six goals and one assist. Goalie Josh Stewart has a 7.63 GAA with 85 saves in 361:55 minutes.
