Keystone ended a near nine-minute scoreless streak when Charlene Hook made one-of-two foul shots to bring the score to 19-5 with 2:36 left in the half. From there King's used a trio of three-pointers from Rader to key a 13-0 run as the Lady Monarchs took a 32-5 lead int the half-time break.

Keystone shot just 9.5 (2-21) percent from the field in the opening stanza while the Lady Monarch defense forced 17 turnovers at the break.

In the second half King's kept on the offensive and built its largest lead of the game at 41-11 after a driving lay-up from Atchison with 15:10 remaining. With King's coach Brian Donoghue begining to substitute liberally, the Lady Giants managed to cut the lead to 17 points when a three-point play from Jazmyn Robinson brought the score to 46-29 with 6:32 to go. But King's quickly regained momentum and maintained a minimum 20-point lead the rest of the way.

Atchison finished the game with a double-double, posting 17 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Rader followed with 16 points, six rebounds, three steals, and four three-pointers.
