KING'S MEN'S LAXERS DROP 8-5 DECISION TO FDU-FLORHAM

WILKES-BARRE -- The visiting FDU-Florham men's lacrosse team rallied from a 4-3 deficit with five fourth-quarter goals to overtake host King's College 8-5 Saturday night at McCarthy Stadium.

With the win FDU improved to 4-7 and 2-1 in the Freedom Conference while King's fell to 3-8 and 1-2.

King's got four goals from Brock Johnson while Brian Steiger added the fifth Monarch score. Brett O'Neill contributed two assists for the Monarchs. Evan Lawshe registered four ground balls while Tanner Hale tallied five.

Mike Warg led the Devils with two goals. Connor Evans made five saves in net for FDU. Derek Bowman posted 13 stops for King's.

FDU outshot King's 29-19 and held a 17-14 advantage in ground balls.
