KING'S MEN'S LAXERS FALL TO MISERICORDIA, 8-3

WILKES-BARRE -- The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team broke open a 3-3 game at the half by outscoring host King's College 5-0 in the second half to post a 8-3 victory Wednesday night at McCarthy Stadium.

With the win Misericordia improved to 8-6 and 3-3 in the Freedom Conference while King's slipped to 2-11 and 1-5.

Lane Kocovsky led the Cougars with two goals ad one assist while Kyle Reese added two scores. Josh Shanker made eight saves.

For King's, Brock Johnson had two goals while Brian Steiger netted one. Derek Bowman posted 11 saves in net.

King's closes out its season Saturday at Manhattanville College.
