Last Time Out For Misericordia: The Misericordia University football team scored twice in the final 1:01 to keep its magical season alive with a thrilling 37-33 win over FDU-Florham last Saturday. The Cougars improved to 6-1 overall and remained unbeaten in the MAC at 5-0.

After an FDU-Florham touchdown with 8:40 to play put the Cougars in a 33-21 hole, MU began its comeback on the two-point conversion attempt when Damian Diaz stepped in front of the pass near the right pylon and went 100 yards the other way to get within 33-23.
MU forced a punt to get the ball back at their own 27 with 4:33 to play. Clayton Vleck took a screen pass down the left sideline for 16 yards on first down to the MU 43. Following a sack of Williams, Klayton Kelly made a diving catch across the middle to the 50-yard line. Facing fourth-and-three, Williams rolled right and hit Gillison near the right sideline for a first down at the Devils' 44.
Isaiah Williams made a leaping catch on the left sideline for 16 yards and followed up with a diving catch across the middle for 12 yards to the FDU 15-yard line. A pass interference penalty in the end zone eventually led to a third and goal where Williams scrambled to his right, avoided two potential sacks and found Isaiah Williams inside the right sideline for the score with 1:01 to go.
Down 33-30, Donovan Berger came on to execute a perfect on side kick with Nick Yeager recovering the kick for MU at their own 49. Gillison hauled in a quick out along the left sideline for 15 yards to the FDU 36 and Kelly followed with a sliding catch across the middle to the 22.
