Men's Outdoor Track & Field Takes on Day Two of Widener's Danny Curran Invitational

CHESTER, PA (March 29, 2025) -- The King's College men's outdoor track and field team competed at day two of the Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener University.
 
On the Track
100 Meter Dash

Jacob Mullery was the first to cross for King's in 11.23 seconds to finish 30th out of 152 runners, while Jordan Jones recorded a time of 11.62 seconds. Kival Clarke was not far behind with a time of 11.71 seconds, and Kreese Stablein finished in 12.25 seconds. Division I St. Joseph's Ben Henry was the top finisher in 10.68 seconds.
 
200 Meter Dash
Andrew Novrocki and Jacob Mullery finished neck-and-neck, with Novrocki placing 25th in 22.48 seconds and Mullery taking 26th in a personal best time of 22.49 seconds. Alek Gorski crossed in a personal best time of 22.72 seconds, and Travis Lane finished in 23.96 seconds. James Holzschuh posted a personal best time of 24.55 seconds. Ben Henry of Division I St. Joseph's won the event in 21.24 seconds.
 
400 Meter Dash
Andrew Novrocki placed 10th overall in 49.13 seconds, while Alek Gorski posted a personal best time of 50.93 seconds. Travis Lane ran a strong race with a time of 53.28 seconds. Josh Jeffes of Cortland won the event in 47.42 seconds.
 
800 Meter Run
Owen Foytack had a top-20 finish, placing 16th overall in 1:55.48, while Preston Klem finished in a personal best time of 1:59.34. Tyler Petty was next to cross in 2:03.16. Alvernia's Spencer Hahn posted the fastest time in 1:52.86.
 
1,500 Meter Run
Owen Foytack took fourth overall in the event in 3:57.57. Jacob Dinerman of Rutgers-Camden was the first to cross in 3:53.82.
 
110 Meter Hurdles
Josh Malone finished 29th overall in the field of 43 in 17.13 seconds. Rowan's Kwaku Nkrumah won the event in 14.17 seconds.
 
400 Meter Hurdles
Josh Malone finished in 1:02.14. Micah Wood recorded the top time in 53.06 seconds.
 
In the Field
High Jump

Cody Miller placed 13th overall with a height of 1.83 meters. Rowan's Noah Wampole won the event as he cleared a height of 1.98 meters.
 
Long Jump
Jordan Jones finished 19th overall in the field of 73 with a mark of 6.39 meters, while Kival Clarke posted a mark of 5.96 meters. Cody Miller recorded a jump of 5.94 meters, and Philliph Oden finished with a mark of 5.91 meters. James Holzschuh finished with a jump of 5.62 meters, and Kreese Stablein posted a mark of 5.12 meters. Holy Family's Desi Stroud won the event with a jump of 7.39 meters.
 
Javelin Throw
Tyler Bird finished 17th overall out of 31 throwers with a mark of 48.43 meters, while Travis Lane placed 20th with a throw of 46.50 meters. Ursinus' Jayden McKeen won the event with a throw of 65.76 meters.

King's sets its sights on a busy weekend ahead as they will compete in the Misericordia Twilight Meet on Friday before taking on the Ursinus Track & Field Festival on Saturday.
