WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 30, 2025) -- The 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships begin tomorrow afternoon, and the King's College outdoor track and field team is prepped and ready for an exciting weekend ahead. This year's meet will be held at Graham Field on the campus of York College (Pa.) in York, Pa.

The Pre-Championship Coaches' Poll was released late last week and saw the King's women tied for fifth out of the 16 conference teams with Misericordia with 159 points, just three behind fourth-seeded Messiah. On the men's side, the Monarchs were picked to finish ninth out of the 16 programs with 108 points.

Action is set to begin on Thursday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. with the men's decathlon and women's hammer throw. Friday's events will begin at 9:15 a.m. with the remaining events in the men's decathlon before the other track and field events begin at approximately 11:00 a.m. The final day of competition on Saturday is set to begin in the field with the women's shot put men's javelin, and women's triple jump at 12:00 p.m. with the finals of the track events starting at 1:00 p.m.

100 Meter Dash
Jacob Mullery is seeded fourth in the event with a time of 10.82 seconds from the Bison Outdoor Classic. Stevenson's Fabrice Saint Hillien holds the top seeding time of 10.67 seconds from the Hopkins Loyola Invitational.

Abigail Springer is seeded seventh in the field with a time of 12.79 seconds from the Bison Outdoor Classic. Widener's Mariam Koita holds the top time of 11.95 seconds from the Bison Outdoor Classic.
 
200 Meter Dash
Jacob Mullery is seeded 12^th entering the weekend with a time of 22.35 seconds from the Bison Outdoor Classic. Misericordia's Richard Billings leads the field with a seeding time of 21.49 seconds from the Bison Outdoor Classic.

Abigail Springer enters with the fifth-fastest seeding time of 26.09 seconds from last weekend's Monarch Open. Widener's Miriam Koita paces the field with a time of 24.51 seconds from the Bison Outdoor Classic.
 
400 Meter Dash
Andrew Novrocki enters the event seeded third with a time of 48.17 seconds from the Monarch Open last weekend, while Alek Gorski is seeded 13^th with a time of 50.58 seconds from the Bison Outdoor Classic. Widener's Samuel Knowles holds the top time of 47.16 seconds from the Paul Donahue Invitational.

Ava Butcher is seeded third with her time of 59.16 seconds from the Danny Curran Invite. Isabella Shanley from Stevens leads the field with a time of 58.29 seconds from the Danny Curran Invite.
 
800 Meter Run
Preston Klem leads the Monarchs as he is seeded ninth with a time of 1:57.17, while Tyler Petty enters the weekend seeded 11^th with a tie of 1:58.37, both from the Bison Outdoor Classic. Daniel Jutras of Stevens has the top time of 1:52.15 from the Paul Donahue Invitational.
 
1,500 Meter Run
Owen Foytack leads the field entering this weekend with a seeding time of 3:54.76 from the Bison Outdoor Classic.
 
100 Meter Hurdles
Victoria Zultevicz is seeded fourth in the event with a time of 15.37 seconds from the Danny Curran Invite. Misericordia's Cara Doyle leads the field in 15.00 seconds from the Misericordia Invitational.
 
400 Meter Hurdles
Julia Johnson enters the weekend seeded 15^th with a time of 1:15.17 from the Misericordia Twilight Meet. York (Pa.)'s Payton Mann holds the top time in 1:03.85 from the 20^th Annual Paul Kaiser Classic.
 
4x100 Meter Relay
The King's Team of Jordan Jones, Alek Gorski, Andrew Novrocki, and Jacob Mullery are seeded sixth with a time of 42.36 seconds from last weekend's Monarch Open. The team from Lebanon Valley leads the pack with a time of 42.00 seconds from the Messiah Multi/Invitational.

The Monarch squad of Victoria Zultevicz, Ava Butcher, Abigail Springer, and Abby Thompson are seeded third in 50.20 seconds from last weekend's Monarch Open. The team from Widener leads the field in 48.21 seconds from the Penn Relays.
 
4x400 Meter Relay
The Monarch squad of Jacob Mullery, Alek Gorski, Preston Klem, and Andrew Novrocki enter the weekend seeded eighth with a time of 3:24.43 from last weekend's Monarch Open. The team from Misericordia paces the field in 3:19.65 from the Washington & Lee Carnival.

The King's team of Abigail Springer, Nicole Zambetti, Samantha Adams, and Ava Butcher are seeded 10^th with a time of 4:21.74 from the Misericordia Twilight Meet. The team from Misericordia holds the top seeding time in 4:01.15 from the Penn Relays.
 
4x800 Meter Relay
The King's team of Ben Wnuk, Owen Foytack, Tyler Petty, and Preston Klem are one of eight teams entering the weekend with no seeding time. Messiah's team enters with the top time of 8:17.56 from the Messiah Multi/Invitational.

Cody Miller is seeded eighth with a height of 1.83 meters from the Danny Curran Invitational. Widener's Matayo McGraw holds the top seeding mark at 1.93 meters from the Paul Donahue Invitational.

Maddy Armitage enters the weekend seeded second with her mark of 1.62 meters from the Misericordia Twilight Meet. Caroline Tighe of Stevens leads the field with a height of 1.66 meters from the Danny Curran Invite.
 
Pole Vault
Victoria Zultevicz climbed the ranks and is seeded second behind her mark of 3.60 meters from last weekend's Monarch Open. Messiah's Hannah Witter leads the field with a height of 3.70 meters from the York College Twilight meet.
 
Long Jump
Jordan Jones is seeded fifth in the event with a mark of 6.74 meters from the Misericordia Twilight Meet. Kival Clarke and Myles Sampson-Glass are seeded back-to-back, with Clarke posting a jump of 6.32 meters from the Misericordia Twilight Meet and Sampson-Glass coming in with a seeding mark of 6.31 meters from last weekend's Monarch Open. Philliph Oden and Kreese Stablein both enter with a seeding jump of 6.00 meters. Misericordia's Matthieu Brunelle leads the pack with a mark of 7.13 meters.
 
Triple Jump
Myles Sampson-Glass is seeded second with his mark of 14.09 meters from the Monarch Open last weekend, while Kival Clarke is seeded 14^th with a jump of 12.74 meters from the Misericordia Invitational. Cody Miller posts a seeding mark of 12.49 meters from the Monarch Invitational, while Jordan Jones enters with a mark of 12.22 meters from the Misericordia Twilight Meet. Matayo McGraw of Widener enters with the top seeding mark of 15.04 meters from the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships.
 
Shot Put
Carnell Kemp is seeded 11^th to lead King's with a mark of 13.40 meters from the Monarch Open last weekend, while Gian Ovalles posts a seeding throw of 12.42 meters from the Misericordia Twilight Meet. Andrew Mott of York (Pa.) has the top seed of 17.25 meters from the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Brandy Varner enters the weekend as the top seed with a mark of 12.90 meters from the Misericordia Twilight Meet, while Caitlin Kirk is seeded sixth with a toss of 11.80 meters from that same meet. Delaney Hilferty is ranked 10^th with her mark of 11.16 meters, and Sophia Lukowski is seeded 12^th with a throw of 10.99 meters, both from last weekend's Monarch Open. Roni McClelland is the final entrant for the Monarchs in the event as she posts a seeding toss of 10.27 meters from the Monarch Open last weekend.
 
Discus Throw
Carnell Kemp is seeded seventh in the event with a mark of 44.68 meters from the Misericordia Invitational, while Josh Brown enters with a seeding throw of 40.44 meters from the Monarch Open last weekend. Both Brady Rutkoski and Gian Ovalles post seeding tosses of 36.09 meters from the Monarch Open, while Joseph Schneider has a seeding mark of 35.27 meters from the Misericordia Twilight Meet. Andrew Mott of York (Pa.) holds the top mark of 55.57 meters from the Danny Curran Invite.

Brandy Varner leads another field as she is ranked first in the discus with her mark of 42.26 meters from the Bison Outdoor Classic. This could be a big event for the Monarchs as they hold the seventh-through-10^th seeding marks all from last weekend's Monarch Open. Delaney Hilferty is ranked seventh with a throw of 37.43 meters, followed by Katey Shoemaker with a toss of 36.63 meters. Caitlin Kirk is next with a mark of 36.61 meters, and Sophia Lukowski rounds out the top 10 seeding marks with her throw of 36.29 meters.
 
Hammer Throw
Carnell Kemp enters the weekend seeded eighth with a mark of 46.42 meters from the Misericordia Invitational, while Kaleb Beers posts a seeding throw of 38.38 meters from the Misericordia Invitational. Joseph Schneider holds a seeding toss of 37.54 meters, while Brady Rutkoski posts a seeding mark of 34.88 meters, both from the Misericordia Invitational. Widener's Isaac Almoney enters the weekend with the top seeding mark of 59.66 meters from the Bison Outdoor Classic.

King's places four in the top 10 seeds, led by Katey Shoemaker at the top of the pack with a mark of 51.67 meters from the Monarch Open last weekend, while Caitlin Kirk is seeded fourth with a throw of 48.02 meters from the Danny Curran Invite. Delaney Hilferty is ranked fifth with a toss of 45.37 meters from the Misericordia Invitational, while Anna Bellucci enters in sixth with a mark of 44.34 meters from the Misericordia Twilight Meet. Brandy Varner is seeded 12^th with her toss of 41.61 meters from the Monarch Open, and Sophia Lukowski rounds out the group for the Monarchs with a seeding throw of 37.00 meters from the Monarch Invite.

Tyler Bird is seeded sixth with a mark of 53.07 meters from the Bison Outdoor Classic while Travis Lane is seeded 12^th with a throw of 49.28 meters from the Monarch Invite. Lebanon Valley's Ian Paul leads the field with a toss of 61.83 meters from the Danny Curran Invite.

Katey Shoemaker leads a pair of Monarchs as she is seeded seventh with a throw of 33.92 meters from the Misericordia Invitational, while Delaney Hilferty enters with a seeding mark of 27.69 meters from the Misericordia Twilight Meet. Lebanon Valley's Kaitlyn Snyder leads the field with a mark of 37.21 meters from the York College Twilight meet.

Travis Lane is one of four entries heading into the weekend with no seeding totals. Messiah's Gavin Dunkerton paces the field of 13 with 5,805 points from the Messiah Multi/Invitaitonal.

Heptathlon
Victoria Zultevicz enters as one of four competitors with no seeding totals entering the weekend. Anna Sawicki of Lebanon Valley enters with the top seeding total of 4,214 from the Messiah Multi/Invitational.
