Brandy Varner won gold in the discus throw to highlight four medals for the King's College outdoor track and field teams on day two of the 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

The women finish day two in second place overall out of 13 scoring teams with 48 points, just three behind first-place Stevens with 51 points. The men are in 10
th with 12 points.

On the Track
100 Meter Dash
Jacob Mullery finished just outside of a qualifying time in 10.98 seconds. Stevenson's Fabrice Saint Hillien led the preliminary heats in 10.52 seconds.

Abigail Springer placed 11
th overall in 12.97 seconds. Widener's Mariam Koita topped the preliminary heats in 11.93 seconds.

200 Meter Dash
Jacob Mullery finished in 23.88 seconds. Stevenson's Fabrice Saint Hillien led the preliminary heats in 21.50 seconds.

Abigail Springer qualified for a spot in tomorrow's finals heat as she finished eighth in the preliminary heat in 26.63 seconds. Widener's Mariam Koita topped the field in 25.45 seconds.

400 Meter Dash
Andrew Novrocki and
Alek Gorski both secured a spot in tomorrow's finals. Novrocki finished third overall in 49.24 seconds, while Gorski crossed in a personal best time of 50.30 seconds to take eighth. Kyle Savino of Stevens won the preliminary heats in 48.79 seconds.

Ava Butcher will compete in tomorrow's finals as she placed third in the preliminary heats in a program-record tying time of 59.16 seconds. Messiah's Halle Jennett recorded the top time in 58.24 seconds.

800 Meter Run
Preston Klem qualified for a spot in the finals tomorrow as he took seventh in the preliminary heats in a personal best time of 1:57.15.
Tyler Petty finished 13
th overall in 1:60.00. Alvernia's Spencer Hahn paced the preliminaries in 1:54.65.

100 Meter Hurdles
Victoria Zultevicz landed a spot in the finals tomorrow in 15.43 seconds to place seventh overall. Misericordia's Cara Coyle led the field in 15.18 seconds.

400 Meter Hurdles
Julia Johnson finished 15
th overall in 1:15.50. York's Payton Mann led the preliminary heats with a time of 1:04.72.

4x100 Meter Relay
The men's team of
Jordan Jones,
Alek Gorski,
Andrew Novrocki, and
Jacob Mullery took sixth in the preliminary heats in 42.63 seconds and will compete in tomorrow's finals. The team from Misericordia won the preliminary heat in 41.97 seconds.

Victoria Zultevicz,
Ava Butcher,
Abigail Springer, and
Abby Thompson will compete in tomorrow's finals as they finished seventh overall in 50.64 seconds. Widener's team won the preliminary heats in 47.39 seconds.

In the Field
High Jump
Cody Miller finished just off the podium in ninth as he cleared a height of 1.85 meters. Widener's Matayo McGraw won the event with a height of 2.00 meters.

Maddy Armitage secured the silver medal in the event with a height of 1.60 meters, while
Abby Thompson placed 14
th with a height of 1.46 meters. Maya Lapinski from Stevens won the event as she cleared 1.60 meters on her second attempt.

Long Jump
Jordan Jones finished just off the podium in ninth with a mark of 6.57 meters, while
Myles Sampson-Glass took 14
th with a personal best jump of 6.41 meters.
Kival Clarke posted a mark of 6.08 meters, and
Kreese Stablein finished the day with a personal best jump of 6.04 meters.
Philliph Oden rounded out the group for King's with a mark of 5.44 meters. Misericordia's Matthieu Brunelle won the event with a mark of 7.13 meters.

Discus Throw
Carnell Kemp placed 12
th overall with a mark of 41.18 meters, while
Josh Brown took 14
th with a throw of 38.99 meters.
Brady Rutkoski was next to finish with a toss of 32.47 meters, and
Gian Ovalles rounded out the group with a mark of 31.53 meters. York's Andrew Mott topped the field with a throw of 52.77 meters.

Brandy Varner brought home the gold medal in the event in dominant fashion, recording a mark of 43.54 meters.
Sophia Lukowski also finished on the podium in eighth with at throw of 34.99 meters.
Caitlin Kirk and
Katey Shoemaker finished back-to-back, with Kirk taking 11
th with a toss of 33.13 meters and Shoemaker placing 12
th with a mark of 33.03 meters.

Multis
Decathlon
Travis Lane finished 2nd overall to claim the silver medal with 5,854 points, just shy of his program record. He opened the day with a personal best time of 17.33 seconds to finish sixth in the 110 meter hurdles before taking third in the discus throw with a mark of 30.72 meters. Lane cleared a height of 3.50 meters in the pole vault to place fifth, took second in the javelin with a mark of 49.07 meters, and won the 1,500 meter run in 4:42.67. Messiah's Gavin Dunkerton was the top finisher with 6,177 points.

Heptathlon
Victoria Zultevicz collected the silver medal in the event with a program-record 3,855 points, topping her previous record of 3,832 points from the 2024 MAC Championships. She opened the day with a fifth-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 4.81 meters before taking third in the javelin with a toss of 23.08 meters. She ended the event with a time of 2:41.84 to finish fifth in the 800 meter run. Lebanon Valley's Anna Sawicki won the event with 4,607 points.
