CSC Academic All-District - Men's At Large

King's Places Six on CSC Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Teams

WILKES-BARRE, PA (June 20, 2025) -- King's College placed six student-athletes on the latest College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men's At-Large teams as announced earlier this week. This year's honorees include men's ice hockey's Teodor Benno Vaage and Ethan Hersant, men's lacrosse's John Wall, and wrestling's Nick Germano, Patrick Horvath, and MJ Turi.

Benno Vaage earns his first career CSC Academic All-District® nod as the sophomore defenseman appeared in 24 out of a possible 25 games this season for the Monarchs. He totaled 16 points on three goals and 13 assists, including two power-play goals. An accounting and finance major, Benno Vaage posts an impressive 3.90 cumulative GPA.

Hersant adds another CSC Academic All-District® honor to his decorated career at King's. The senior forward skated in all 25 games this season, leading the team with 15 goals while totaling 30 points with 15 assists, five power-play goals, four short-handed goals, and a game-winning goal. An All-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) First Team honoree, Hersant is an English major with a 3.65 cumulative GPA.

Wall picks up his second CSC Academic All-District® accolade in his career. The senior attack appeared and started in all 15 games for the Monarchs this season and led the team with 35 points on 25 goals and 10 assists while adding 46 ground balls. A business administration major, Wall finished the Spring 2025 semester with a 3.61 cumulative GPA.

Germano collects yet another academic honor for his career as the senior earns his first CSC Academic All-District® recognition. He wrestled at the 141 weight class, posting a 13-13 overall record this season with a sixth-place finish at the 2025 MAC Wrestling Championships. Germano was just named the King's Male Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year with an impressive 4.0 GPA through all four years at King'sas as a history major.

Horvath earns his first CSC Academic All-District® nod as the junior wrestled at 125 and finished with a 12-11 overall record, fourth-place finish at the 2025 MAC Wrestling Championships, and an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships. An exercise science physiology major, Horvath maintains a 3.67 cumulative GPA.

Turi rounds out this year's CSC Academic All-District® At-Large honorees with his first career honor. The sophomore wrestled at 149 and 157 this season with a 15-9 overall record and a sixth-place finish at the 2025 MAC Wrestling Championships. An accounting major, Turi finished the 2024-25 academic year with a 4.0 cumulative GPA.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
