Angelina Broga is seeded 17th out of 24 runners after running a season best time of 8.50 seconds on Saturday at Cornell. The freshman took 0.20 seconds off her time of 8.70 seconds that she ran at the Armory last month in her only other time running the event this season. She will be in the second of three heats during Friday's preliminaries running in the sixth lane. The winner of each heat plus the next five fastest times advance to Saturday's final. In her heat is second-seeded Kathryn Wiederrecht of Messiah and fifth-seeded Emily Jacobson of DeSales. Wiederrecht will be in lane two with a season best time of 8.01 seconds while Jacobson will be next to Broga in lane five with a season best time of 8.18 seconds. Top-seeded Laura Mathews of conference newcomer Stevens headlines the third heat in lane two while third-seeded Nicole Weenink will be running out of lane one in the first heat. Mathews is the only sprinter to break eight seconds this year with a time of 7.94 seconds while Weenink has a seed time of 8.01 seconds.

Junior Emmanuel Edoukou will look to compete for the MAC title in Saturday's final but first he must qualify during Friday's preliminaries. The sprinter finished eighth as a freshman and third last year and enters the weekend with the second fastest time in the conference this season. Last week Edoukou ran a school record 7.01 seconds at Cornell. On Friday he will run in the third of four heats out of lane seven. The winner of each heat plus the next four fastest times qualify for the final. Top-seeded Dereck Davis of Stevenson will be running out of lane three in the fourth heat with his MAC record time of 6.81 seconds which is also ranked second in Division III this year. Stevenson freshman Cameron Summers is seeded third with a time of 7.05 seconds and will be in seventh lane of the second heat. The first heat includes another Monarchs sprinter in Alex Solano who is seeded 20th out of 28 with a season best time of 7.40 seconds that the freshman ran at the Orange and Maroon Classic. His heat is headlined by another Mustang sprinter as fifth-seeded Clement Onyebadi is the highest seed in the heat with a season best time of 7.12 seconds. Stevenson has four of the top six fastest time in the field. Davis is the defending champ running 6.94 seconds in last year's final.

200 Meter Dash
Angelina Broga will be running out of lane four in the second of five heats on Saturday as she looks to improve on her season best time of 28.16 seconds that she ran last week at the Marc Deneault Invitational. The freshman is seeded 17th overall out of 24 sprinters and second in her heat behind Hood freshman Mackenzie Rogers who has a season best time of 28.05 seconds. The top five seeds are in the fifth and final heat. Stevens senior Gina Dello Russo is running out of lane five with her MAC leading time of 25.93 seconds and will have second-seeded Kathryn Wiederrcht of Messiah next to her in lane four. The junior has run 26.14 seconds this season. Stevens freshman Laura Mathews has the third fastest time in the conference this season at 26.24 seconds and will be on the other side of her teammate in lane six.

Emmanuel Edoukou is seeded third out of 29 sprinters and will be running out of lane six in the sixth and final heat on Saturday. The junior is coming off running a school record time of 22.72 seconds on Saturday. He is looking for a little redemption after he ran what would have been a school record time at last year's Championship had he not been disqualified. Edoukou has been strong this year running times of 22.99 seconds, 23.08 seconds, and 23.10 seconds in the three prior meets to last week. He will have top-seeded Dereck Davis of Stevenson right next to him in lane five. The junior has run 22.44 seconds this year. The second seed, Nick DiMaria of Stevens, is next to Davis in lane four with a season best time of 22.49 seconds.

400 Meter Dash
Sarah Ross and Kailey Orzechowski will look to score some points for the Monarch women on Saturday as the duo are seeded 10th and 11th out of 34 runners. Ross, the school record holder at 1:03.03, is 11th with a seed time of 1:03.65 and will be running out of lane five in the second of four heats. She has the top four times in program history including a season best 1:03.34. Orzechowski is seeded at 1:03.52and will be running out of lane two in the third heat. The junior has run a career best time of 1:03.49 this season at the Armory. The top three seed times are in the fourth and final heat with all three breaking one minute. Gina Dello Russo of Stevens is the top seed at 57.55 seconds which is the eighth fastest in Division III this year while defending MAC Champion Ellissa Slader of Messiah is second at 58.55 seconds. Slader's classmate at Messiah, Esther Seeland is third with a time of 59.56 seconds. The trio will be running in lanes four, five, and six with the two Messiah runners sandwiching Dello Russo.

800 Meter Run
Beth Albright is seeded 11th and 12th in the field of 17 and will run in the first of two heats on Saturday. Albright has run extremely well this season and is coming off a career best time of 2:30.05 last weekend which is the third fastest in program history. The sophomore has also run 2:30.93 and 2:31.10 this year. The winner will most likely come from the second heat with Messiah sophomore Esther Seeland looking to defend her title as the top seed. Seeland has the nation's second fastest seed time this year at 2:11.53. Her time was actually 2:10.03 but the seed was converted for the size of the track at Penn State. Eastern sisters Katelyn and Megan Bernotas will look to chase down Seeland as the next two seed times. Katelyn is seeded at 2:18.27 while Megan is at 2:24.33.

Mitch Forgash is seeded third and will run in the second and fastest heat on Saturday as he is hoping to win his first MAC title while also improving his chances at qualifying for the NCAA Championships. The sophomore is currently 26th in the nation with a time of 1:54.84 that he ran last weekend at the Marc Deneault Invitational. Forgash ran a school record time of 1:54.39 at the Winter Classic earlier this month but that time was converted to a slower time then his time last week because of the track size at Ocean Breeze. Forgash is looking to better his 12th place finish last year where he also ran the 400 and a couple of relays and crossed the line with a time of 2:10.09. His biggest competition on Saturday will be Stevenson senior Iddriss Iddriss and DeSales junior Matthew Kraus. Iddriss is seeded at 1:53.93 while Kraus is seeded just ahead of Forgash at 1:54.53.

60 Meter Hurdles
Emily Harrington and Kristine Krumpfer will look to qualify for Saturday's final on Friday afternoon running in the fourth of four preliminary heats. Harrington will be in lane five while Krumpfer is scheduled to be in lane seven. The winner of each heat plus the next four fastest times will advance to Saturday. Harrington is coming off a season best time of 9.59 seconds last weekend at Cornell and will be looking to qualify for her second straight final after finishing sixth last year. Her time is seeded ninth, but she will see great competition in the heat running next to top-seeded Laura Mathews of Stevens. Mathews has run 8.95 seconds this year which is 14th in Division III. Krumpfer ran 10.25 seconds twice this season, both at Cornell, and will look to close out her rookie campaign with a career best time on Friday. Eric Bidinger is an alternate in case one of the Monarchs is unable to compete. King's is seeded ninth with a time of 1:37.30 run earlier this year at Alvernia. They will be in the second of three heats with Albright, Messiah, Alvernia, and DeSales. The top five seed times will battle it out in the third heat as everyone is within two seconds of top-seeded Widener at 1:31.61. Defending champ Lebanon Valley is seeded second at 1:31.98 while Stevens is third at 1:32.78.

4x400 Meter Relay
The quartet of Sarah Ross, Kailey Orzechowski, Angelina Broga, and Beth Albright will look to break the school record of 4:20.05 run at last year's Championships to finish sixth in the final event of the meet. The Monarchs were not that far off from that time a couple of weeks ago with a seed time of 4:25.27 which puts them in the first of two heats on Saturday as the seventh seed. King's will race against Alvernia, Misericordia, Messiah, and Arcadia in the heat. Conference newcomer, Stevens, has the top seed time at 3:25.89 while Eastern is second at 3:28.37. DeSales is third at 3:30.32. Defending champ Widener is fourth with a seed time of 3:30.39.

Distance Medley Relay
In the first relay of the meet King's will have Mitch Forgash, Eric Biddinger, Kyle Mlodzienski, and Liam Danaher look to score as many points as possible in a 10-team field. The school record is 11:14.02 run at the MAC Championships two years ago. Five of the teams in the field have not run a DMR this year including the Monarchs and do not have a seed time. Of the teams with a seed time, Stevens is the favorite with a time of 10:39.57. DeSales is second at 11:12.33 while Eastern is third with a time of 11:14.08.
